Suspension
With ‘Suspension’, I shift scales to capture the intimacy of the high mountains. This square format acts as a fragment of memory, a mineral snapshot.
Here, the rock becomes graphic. The lines of force—like veins of quartz or scars of ice—outline an architecture that is both fragile and powerful. Between the warm-toned base, anchored in the earth, and the cold peaks fading into the grey sky, this work evokes that moment of absolute silence, just before the summit, where everything seems to float in balance.
