Ocean ! Nautical Storage

In Ocean! Nautical Storage, I capture a vibrant marine cloakroom filled with color. Two yellow raincoats and two trousers, hanging side by side, tell the everyday story of sailors. In this case, they are the garments from the sailing center where my children took courses in my home village in Brittany, West of France. The bold tones of blue and red, the play of light on the textures, and the presence of a bright red buoy on the floor create an atmosphere that is both familiar and symbolic. I painted the abbreviation of the word “OCEAN!” on a piece of sailcloth — like a call, and my own cry of love for the sea.
