Red Ochre Clape
This painting is the second in a triptych inspired by the vegetation of the La Clape massif in southern France. It explores the theme of soil depletion, blending mineral and plant elements in warm tones of red ochre, brown, and grey. The earth has grown poorer, vegetation is sparse — yet nature still asserts itself with striking vibrancy.
